A Mystery School of
the New Age

Throughout the evolution of the human race those individuals who determined to throw aside the shackles of ignorance and blind faith have emerged to the fore. Not for them simplistic platitudes or dogmas; they desired and sought Truth.

This state of spiritual re-awakening was then reflected within their aura, which in turn drew toward them those highly advanced souls whose selected task it was to guide the faltering steps of mankind along the pathway of life.

The priesthood of the ancient civilisations developed secluded centres for learning (which were known as Mystery Schools), wherein spiritually determined individuals studied metaphysical truths and practises.

A vital part of this disciplined training was the necessity for each in turn to undergo many challenging stages of initiation.

In some of those civilisations the Mystery Schools were large and played a major role in the life of the people. This was certainly true in ancient Egypt and Persia.
In more recent times these centres of learning were small and located in isolated areas in a bid to deflect the curious. But no matter their size or position, all of these centres fulfilled an important role. They prepared those who were to lead the next generation along the spiritual pathway.

An important part of the mysteries was the study and the practise of the Healing Arts. In ancient Egypt this training took some twenty-one years to complete. In ancient Greece the Temple of Asclepius was an important centre for over one thousand years. Here all of the great minds of the time studied including Hippocrates and Pythagorus.

But the Art of Seer-ship also an important part of the mysteries and once accepted for training the acolyte had seven difficult years of study and preparation ahead of them.

Awareness of the ancient mystery schools has long faded from memory and those who desire truth must discover new methods of uncovering this rare commodity. With the dawning of the new Age there came into being new mysteries and even greater challenges lie before us.

Here in an isolated part of northern New South Wales, Edmund Harold has commenced to fulfill a lifelong dream and is slowly creating a mystery school for the next millennium.

Commencing in a small way initially, it is but a small log cabin at present, that it is envisaged will gradually grow into a centre where the Healing Arts may not only be studied, but also practised. Training in other mystical arts, particularly Seer-ship and Trance Channelling will form an essential part of the work to be undertaken here.

Study courses of a one and two-year duration are already underway. Although the majority of this work is a combination of home study and practical application in your own home environment there is the necessity for all students to attend the mystery school for nine days of each year of their preferred study course. This is absolutely vital for highly complex subjects such as these are easily misunderstood. Practical and constructive training is vital in order to avoid difficulties further down the track.

You are invited to study in the unspoiled environment of this lushly wooded valley through which a creek flows before dropping into a deep dark pool. Surrounded as it is by hills, Grail House Retreat has the added benefit of the male and female Ley energies which greatly aid the quickening of the Spiritual talents.
